I tested a bunch of Switch 2 screen protectors, and these are the best
A comprehensive review of Switch 2 screen protectors reveals that glass protectors are essential accessories for new console owners seeking to protect their displays from scratches. The Verge’s testing process involved installing and removing multiple protector options to assess their effectiveness, clarity, and durability across different brands.
The review emphasizes that plastic screen protectors should be avoided entirely, as they fail to provide adequate protection and represent poor value for consumers. According to the testing, once installed on the screen, different brands’ protectors become visually indistinguishable from one another, making product packaging and installation experience key differentiators between competing products.
The recommendation strongly suggests that Switch 2 owners prioritize installing a quality screen protector immediately upon console purchase to prevent accidental damage to the display. This accessory is positioned as one of the highest-priority purchases for new Switch 2 users, ranked alongside other critical gaming add-ons for protecting the hardware investment.
