Control Resonant PC Requirements Are More Reserved Than You Might Expect

Remedy Entertainment has announced that Control Resonant, their upcoming action RPG, will release on September 24, 2026, across PC, consoles, and macOS. The announcement came during Sony’s State of Play presentation in June 2026.

The developer revealed the game’s PC system requirements, which prove surprisingly modest for a modern AAA title. The recommended specifications call for an RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT—graphics cards from 2020 and 2021—along with 16 GB of RAM. The minimum requirements are even more accessible, needing only an Intel i5-8500 or equivalent processor. Players should note, however, that the game requires substantial SSD storage space.

The conservative hardware requirements suggest that Control Resonant prioritizes broad accessibility over cutting-edge graphical demands. The game marks Remedy’s entry into character-action gameplay, following the studio’s experience with titles like Alan Wake. Control Resonant will compete at retail on September 24, 2026, launching the same day as Konami’s Silent Hill: Townfall.
