It’s just as well I’m not at Computex this year, because I could not be trusted with Corsair’s glowing samurai sword PC

Corsair has unveiled a striking PC build at Computex 2026 designed to resemble a cyberpunk samurai sword. The custom showfloor build features Corsair’s limited edition Shugo DDR5-6000 memory, with multiple illuminated memory sticks installed in the sword’s spinning hilt.

The sword is a fully functional two-handed computer that doubles as a unique input device. Users power on the machine by placing the physical sword back into its PC pedestal, seamlessly integrating form and function. The light-up blade and memory components make it a visually striking piece on the Computex floor.

Gizmodo Japan had the opportunity to go hands-on with the build, wielding the illuminated blade and demonstrating how the unconventional form factor operates as a working PC. The design successfully blends cyberpunk aesthetic appeal with practical computing hardware, showcasing the creative possibilities of custom PC building.

This build exemplifies how PC hardware manufacturers are pushing boundaries in presentation and design at major industry events. Rather than traditional tower cases or peripheral designs, Corsair opted for an artistic statement that captures attention while demonstrating their premium memory components. The sword build represents both a technical achievement in custom computing and a bold creative expression at one of tech’s largest conferences.
