Nintendo Expands Switch Online’s N64 Library With Another Game
Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library with the addition of Donkey Kong 64, the classic 1999 platformer originally developed by Rare. The game became available on June 4th, 2026, marking another notable addition to the service’s growing Nintendo 64 catalog.
Donkey Kong 64 allows players to control five different Kong characters—Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Tiny Kong, Lanky Kong, and Chunky Kong—as they work together to defend DK Island from the threat of King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew. The game is remembered for its colorful cast of characters and the distinctive “DK Rap,” which plays a notable role in the experience.
