Yare Yare Daze! More JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Coming to PS5
The Brazilian ratings board has revealed that a new version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is in development. The original game, an arena fighter developed by CyberConnect 2 and published by Bandai Namco, was released exclusively on PS4 in 2016. The upcoming title, Eyes of Heaven R, is targeting multiple platforms, expanding the game’s reach beyond its original console exclusivity.
This release follows a similar strategy to another recent JoJo’s title, All-Star Battle R, which expanded upon the PlayStation 3 fighting game with new content and an expanded Season Pass. Given the franchise’s significant popularity in manga and anime communities, an announcement at upcoming summer gaming events appears likely.
The move to bring Eyes of Heaven to multiple platforms represents an effort by Bandai Namco to capitalize on the enduring popularity of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise. As a remaster with expanded platform support, Eyes of Heaven R aims to introduce the arena fighter to a wider audience beyond those who had access to the original PS4 exclusive.
