Jojopyun, MKOI, and KCorp All Fined Following LEC Roadtrip

Riot Games has issued fines and warnings to two League of Legends European Championship (LEC) teams and one player following the LEC Roadtrip in Madrid held a month prior. Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp each received €5,000 fines and warnings, while Canadian midlaner Joseph ‘Jojopyun’ Pyun of Movistar KOI received a €2,000 fine and warning.

The penalties resulted from actions by the organizations’ content creator owners. Ibai ‘Ibai’ Llanos Garatea of MKOI and Kamel ‘Kameto’ Kebir of KCorp were scheduled to compete in a highly anticipated showmatch during the Madrid event. However, public disagreements between the two streaming personalities prevented the match from taking place as planned.

All penalties have been recorded on Riot Games’ EMEA penalty tracker. The incident highlights the standards Riot Games upholds for professional conduct at official LEC events, particularly among team ownership figures whose public actions impact the competitive integrity of professional League of Legends esports.
