Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight swoops onto Switch 2 this autumn, and its first major DLC arrives the same day
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is coming to Switch 2 on September 18, 2026, publisher Warner Bros. Games has announced. The game will launch alongside its first major DLC expansion, the Mayhem Collection.
Legacy of the Dark Knight initially released in May 2026 across Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms to critical acclaim, achieving a Metascore of 84 and a user score of 8.7. The Switch 2 version has been highly anticipated following the console’s launch, with Nintendo players awaiting an official release confirmation.
The Mayhem Collection DLC adds significant new content, including playable Joker and Harley Quinn characters, a new story mission, a dedicated “Mayhem Mode,” and additional features. The expansion releases simultaneously with the Switch 2 launch.
Pre-orders are now live on the Nintendo Store priced at $69.99 for the standard edition. The Deluxe Edition bundles the Mayhem Collection DLC, Legacy Collection extras, three-day early access, and the exclusive Dark Knight Returns Batsuit. Notably, the Dark Knight Returns Batsuit is also included with all standard edition pre-orders, incentivizing early adoption.
