Rayman’s best, most beautiful adventure is being remade in 3D, for some reason, and it’ll bundled with the leaked Rayman Origins remaster
Ubisoft has announced Rayman Legends Retold, a 3D remake of the celebrated 2D platformer originally released over a decade ago. The remake will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on October 1st, 2026, as part of Rayman’s 30th anniversary celebration.
The original Rayman Legends was acclaimed for its sumptuous hand-drawn art, imaginative level design, and solid platforming mechanics. The decision to remake this particular entry—rather than other games in the Rayman franchise—is somewhat unexpected, though Ubisoft has chosen it as the centerpiece of the anniversary celebrations.
In a bundle arrangement, the new Rayman Legends Retold will come packaged with a previously leaked remaster of Rayman Origins, giving players both an updated take on Legends and a remastered version of its predecessor. This combination suggests Ubisoft’s intent to spotlight these two cornerstone titles in the Rayman franchise during the character’s landmark anniversary year.
