The Lost Wild Not Coming To Xbox At Launch, Along With A Few Other State Of Play Titles

Sony held its June 2026 State of Play event as part of Summer Game Fest week, showcasing a mix of PlayStation exclusives and multiplatform titles. The event was headlined by Marvel’s Wolverine, an Insomniac Games exclusive.

Among third-party announcements, several titles were confirmed as PlayStation and PC-only releases. Annapurna Interactive featured prominently with two games: the survival horror title The Lost Wild and Silent Hill: Townfall, both confirmed for PS5 and PC in 2027. The action game Kemuri, featuring yokai-possession mechanics, will also launch on PS5 and PC in 2027. Phantom Blade Zero remains a timed PlayStation 5 console exclusive, now delayed to October 2026. Additionally, RuneScape: Dragonwilds will launch on PS Plus in October.

However, not all games shown during the State of Play are exclusives. Several titles announced at the event will also release on Xbox Series X|S and PC, including Rayman Legends Retold, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which received a new playable demo during the presentation.

The event demonstrated Sony’s strategy of featuring first-party exclusives alongside third-party partnerships, highlighting the mix of platform-exclusive and multiplatform content coming to PlayStation while acknowledging the broader gaming landscape.
