The Stuntman Series Returns After Almost 20 Years, With Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, and More

Saber Interactive is reviving the dormant Stuntman franchise with Stuntman: Hollywood, marking the series’ return after nearly two decades. The original Stuntman launched on PS2 in 2002, followed by a sequel in 2007, before going dormant.

Stuntman: Hollywood is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The revival is bolstered by a partnership with Universal Pictures, bringing official movie and television licenses to the franchise for the first time. A trailer revealed vehicles and content from major properties including Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and 2008’s Death Race. Players will have access to iconic cars from these franchises, such as Brian O’Conner’s rides from the Fast and the Furious films and the armored Mustang featured in Death Race.

The announcement was made during PlayStation’s State of Play presentation at Summer Game Fest. The revival represents a significant moment for the franchise, combining the original’s cult following with contemporary licensing opportunities and modern production values for a new generation of consoles.
