One of our favorite OLED PC gaming monitors offers jaw-dropping 4K visuals at a lag-free 240Hz — and for a reasonable price
ASUS has released the ROG Strix OLED 27" (XG27UCDMG), positioning itself as a premium gaming monitor offering exceptional visual quality and performance at a competitive price point. The monitor features a 4K resolution display paired with a 240Hz refresh rate, delivering both visual clarity and smooth gameplay performance. With a response time of just 0.03 milliseconds, the display is engineered to minimize input lag, a critical factor for competitive gaming.
The monitor leverages OLED technology to deliver what ASUS claims are among the best visual qualities available in a sub-$1,000 gaming monitor. OLED displays are known for their superior contrast ratios, vibrant colors, and deeper blacks compared to traditional LCD panels, making them ideal for both gaming and creative professional work.
Currently, the monitor is available at a 20% discount on Amazon for $799.99, making premium OLED gaming at 4K resolution more accessible than its typical price point. This discount arrives ahead of Amazon Prime Day, offering early access to a compelling deal in the high-end gaming monitor market.
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED 27" targets enthusiast gamers and creative professionals who demand high-performance displays. The combination of 4K resolution, high refresh rates, minimal response time, and OLED technology addresses users prioritizing both visual fidelity and responsive gameplay.
