Epic Games Store’s new free PC games revealed
Epic Games Store has revealed this week’s free game offerings after keeping them as a surprise for several weeks. The two free games available to claim are Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest, both well-reviewed PC titles.
Rogue Waters is a turn-based roguelike with a pirate theme. Players assume the role of a pirate captain seeking revenge, recruiting fellow pirates to join their crew. The game features tactical combat across multiple environments, including land battles, shipboard skirmishes, and large-scale naval warfare.
Songs of Conquest is a tactics game that rounds out this week’s free offerings. While details are limited in the announcement, it represents another strategic title added to the platform’s free library.
The Epic Games Store has been experimenting with surprise game reveals in recent weeks, departing from its usual practice of announcing free games a week in advance. This approach appears designed to generate engagement and anticipation among players.
