Esports Nations Cup Revaels 107 MLBB Rosters
The Esports Foundation has announced the roster submissions for the Esports Nations Cup, with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) drawing an impressive 107 country entries. MLBB dominated the esports landscape at the Esports World Cup 2025, becoming the most-watched event with over 3 million peak viewers, far outpacing PUBG Mobile which recorded 1.38 million viewers.
The qualification format for the Esports Nations Cup is structured across multiple phases. Of the 107 submitted rosters, only 32 teams will qualify for the $1.5 million event. Sixteen teams will receive direct invitations based on players’ recent performances and accumulated point scores. Invitations are scheduled to be sent on August 2, marking the official confirmation period for participating teams.
The remaining qualification spots will be filled through two alternative pathways. Fourteen teams will secure their places through regional online qualifiers, allowing smaller nations and regions to compete for tournament positions. The final two slots will be awarded through the ENC Wildcards system, providing additional competitive opportunities for teams seeking last-minute qualification.
The phased qualification approach—combining direct invites, regional qualifiers, and wildcard slots—ensures geographic diversity while maintaining competitive integrity. This structure allows established powerhouse teams to secure spots early while creating pathways for emerging talents and underrepresented regions to participate in one of mobile gaming’s premier events.
