G2 Esports Announce English Release of Red Aura Comic on WEBTOON
G2 Esports has announced the English-language release of its original fantasy-action web comic series “Red Aura” on WEBTOON. The series will launch on June 6 under the WEBTOON Originals label, marking its first official English release.
The comic originally debuted in Japan through WEBTOON’s LINE MANGA platform in October 2025, where it achieved significant popularity by reaching #9 in the New Series rankings during its opening weekend. The English release will include 20 episodes immediately available to readers, comprising 15 free episodes and 5 Fast Pass chapters, with additional episodes rolling out on a weekly schedule. The series has a planned first season of 42 episodes total.
Red Aura was revealed in October 2025 as part of G2 Esports’ original intellectual property portfolio and the organization’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. The comic represents G2’s expansion beyond traditional esports into original content creation and entertainment media properties.
