Five New ‘Xbox Player Voice’ Requests That Have Been Trending Over The Past Week
The Xbox Player Voice program, which allows players to request features and improvements, faces a leaderboard design issue that perpetually favors older submissions. According to Pure Xbox’s analysis, nearly all requests in the top five pages were submitted when the program launched, with continuous upvoting keeping them prominent regardless of age. Even when sorted by “Most Trending,” requests from two weeks ago dominate the rankings, making it difficult for newer community feedback to gain visibility.
To identify current player priorities, Pure Xbox manually reviewed the leaderboard and identified five notable trending requests submitted within the past week. The most prominent request calls for Xbox to leverage legacy intellectual properties, specifically mentioning beloved franchises Skylanders, Spyro, and Crash. Submitted five days ago, this request reflects sustained player interest in bringing classic gaming franchises to the platform.
Another significant trending request advocates for expanded backward compatibility, specifically requesting support for original Xbox and Xbox 360 peripherals with backward compatible games. This suggests players want more comprehensive compatibility experiences beyond simply playing older titles—including the ability to use legacy controllers and accessories.
These trending requests highlight areas Xbox players believe need improvement, from franchise revival to enhanced backward compatibility features. The leaderboard issue identified by Pure Xbox suggests the Xbox Player Voice system may benefit from adjustments to surface newer requests more effectively and ensure player feedback reflects current community priorities rather than remaining dominated by early submissions.
