There’s Another Star Wars Game Coming This Year, And It’s Reportedly Closer Than You Think
The release date for Star Wars Zero Company has leaked ahead of its official reveal. According to reliable leaker billbil-kun at Dealabs, the turn-based strategy game will launch on August 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S—several months earlier than many expected.
Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player XCOM-style strategy title set in the Star Wars universe. The game was first announced at Star Wars Celebration in April 2025, though players have seen relatively little of it since then.
The leaked information also reveals pricing details: a Standard Edition will cost $49.99 (available in both physical and digital formats), while a Deluxe Edition will be priced at $59.99 and available digitally only.
The August release date positions Star Wars Zero Company to arrive just before September’s notably crowded release schedule, giving EA and Respawn a strategic window in late summer. The game is reportedly only about three months away from launch, making its official gameplay reveal at Summer Game Fest on Friday particularly timely.
This is one of multiple Star Wars games in development, with Galactic Racer—a racing title—also scheduled to release later in 2026.
