Yet another new Crimson Desert update is here, and this one adding Pinball, because of course

Pearl Abyss has released version 1.10.00 for Crimson Desert, its single-player action RPG spin-off from Black Desert. The update brings substantial improvements and new features across multiple systems.

The patch’s primary focus is enhancing the Re-Blockade feature, a gameplay mechanic where players must defend liberated strongholds from enemy reclamation attempts. The update adds new stages called “Battle” and “Reconstruct,” addressing long-standing player feedback about insufficient rewards and limited defensive options. Players can now request “Protection” for key strongholds, with successful defense providing contributions, provisions, trade goods, and other valuable items.

Continuing Pearl Abyss’s aggressive update schedule—delivering major patches nearly weekly since launch—version 1.10.00 introduces new minigames including Pinball and Orb Roll. The Pinball machine is located in the inn near the Delesyian Institute, with tokens earned from the minigame exchangeable at a Marni Token Exchange. These additions reflect the developer’s approach to keeping gameplay fresh and varied.

The patch also expands the game’s mount and pet system. Baby Wyverns, previously cosmetic companions, can now be fed and mounted as special mounts. A new pet, the Kuku Bird Chick, is also available as a mount option, giving players more traversal choices throughout the open world.

Additional improvements include various bug fixes and stability enhancements. This update comes just three days after Pearl Abyss announced its second content roadmap, outlining planned updates through September, and confirmed a substantial expansion is in development. Version 1.10.00 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
