LEGO Reseller Bricks and Minifigs Will Return ‘Stolen’ Star Wars Sets to Collector; Parting Ways With Controversial Management

LEGO reseller Bricks & Minifigs is moving to resolve a high-profile dispute involving a claimed $200,000 Star Wars collectible collection. Bryan Mansell and his father alleged that the retailer essentially appropriated their LEGO Star Wars collection through a failed consignment agreement. CEO Ammon McNeff has announced the company’s willingness to return the disputed collection and any LEGO Star Wars sets currently in stores, regardless of ownership. Additionally, Bricks & Minifigs will drop the lawsuit filed against the Mansells. The retailer is also parting ways with Salem, Oregon franchise owners Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson, signaling internal restructuring following the controversy. The settlement represents an effort to move past the contentious situation that has drawn public scrutiny to the company’s handling of consignment transactions.
