Zenless Zone Zero’s Gorgeous New City Revealed Early After Major Leak
A planned reveal for Zenless Zone Zero’s new region, Roscaelifer, has been accelerated after an accidental leak. An unnamed website published a 10-minute gameplay demonstration of the “city in the sky” location earlier this week, which quickly went viral across the game’s community on social media. The leak forced HoYoverse to disrupt its coordinated marketing schedule and release an official version of the video ahead of its intended timeline, with the full reveal livestream originally planned for the following day.
Despite the untimely leak, the new region has been well-received by players. Roscaelifer is inspired by European cities such as London and Paris, introducing a notably fresh aesthetic to the PS5 live-service title. The region is set to serve as the backdrop for approximately a year’s worth of content updates, providing the foundation for the game’s next major era of gameplay and story developments. The viral leak, while disruptive to HoYoverse’s marketing plans, has generated significant community buzz and appears to have exceeded initial expectations for the region’s reveal.
