A 16-game retro compilation of Barbie games is coming from Atari and Digital Eclipse
Atari and Digital Eclipse have announced Barbie Rewind, a retro gaming compilation paired with a new creative game. The package includes 16 classic Barbie games spanning the 1990s and 2000s, covering platforms from the NES to the PlayStation, along with a previously unreleased 16-bit title.
The new component is a Dreamhouse design game where players decorate Barbie’s iconic home using furniture, decor, and accessories inspired by actual Barbie playsets from the brand’s 65-year history. To unlock additional items, players must complete games from the retro compilation, creating an interconnected experience between old and new content.
This release represents a significant preservation effort, bringing together Barbie’s video game legacy and making it accessible through a single package.
