Five Xbox Game Pass titles received major announcements during Summer Game Fest Showcase 2026 and Day of the Devs 2026. The most anticipated reveal was the January 15, 2027 release date for Stranger Than Heaven, accompanied by the announcement of Tupac Shakur as a character in the game—a significant celebrity collaboration for the title.
Other substantial announcements included confirmed release dates for Palworld 1.0, 33 Immortals 1.0, and Screenbound, all of which have been added to Xbox’s expanding Game Pass catalog for 2026. The showcase also featured a teaser for an upcoming Grounded 2 update, signaling continued development for the popular Game Pass title.
In notable cross-platform news, Grounded was revealed to be coming to PlayStation 5 in the coming months, representing a significant expansion beyond the Xbox ecosystem. This move underscores the broadening strategy of bringing Game Pass-supported titles to additional platforms.
