Little Nightmares 3 ‘The Backstage’ DLC Coming Next Week
Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares 3, titled “The Backstage,” launching on June 12, 2026. The announcement was made during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2026.
The Backstage DLC takes players deeper into The Carnevale, exploring its darkest and most hidden areas. The expansion introduces new puzzles, challenges, and a fresh perspective on the game’s twisted world. Players will encounter Dime, a new child character who wears a distinctive torch hat that serves as a crucial tool for navigating the treacherous depths beneath The Carnevale’s curtains. In this adventure, Low reunites with Dime as they work together to face new threats and ultimately attempt to save Alone from the Puppeteer’s grasp.
The DLC is the first of two additional story expansions included in the Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass, a paid add-on offering. The expansion promises to enrich the Little Nightmares 3 experience by uncovering hidden secrets, revealing new perspectives, and introducing unexpected horrors that expand upon the base game’s narrative.
Little Nightmares 3 itself was released in October 2025 as the first title in the franchise developed by Supermassive Games, marking the studio’s entry into the long-running series.
