Guide: These 7+ PS5 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (8th-14th June)
The summer doldrums have arrived for PS5, with limited releases scheduled for the week of June 8-14. The article notes there’s “really not a lot of anything coming out,” suggesting a slower period in the gaming calendar.
Two notable games are highlighted for the week. Solarpunk, releasing June 8, is a relaxed survival craft sandbox game developed by a two-person team. The game emphasizes creative freedom, allowing players to construct buildings, decorate homes with extensive furniture options, grow and cook food, craft gadgets, and explore distant islands via personal airship. It supports both solo and cooperative multiplayer gameplay, making it accessible for players who prefer shared experiences.
NBA The Run, launching June 9, brings back the legacy of PS2-era street basketball gaming. Drawing inspiration from the classic NBA Street franchise, this 3v3 street basketball title offers fast-paced online gameplay. The game is positioned as a fitting complement to the ongoing NBA Finals, giving basketball fans a game-based way to engage with the sport during the season’s conclusion.
Overall, this week represents a quiet period in PS5 releases, though both titles offer distinct gameplay experiences for players interested in relaxation and creativity or competitive sports gaming.
