Vampire Survivors Announces Switch 2 Version, New DLC And Name Update
Vampire Survivors developer Poncle has announced significant updates for the popular roguelike game. The studio is bringing the title to Nintendo Switch 2 with enhanced performance and mouse support, marking the first next-generation console release for the game. No specific launch date has been provided yet, but additional details are promised in the future.
Beyond the Switch 2 port, Poncle has revealed “Legacy of the Bloodmoon,” the next major expansion set to launch this summer. Designed as the “evil twin” to the original expansion Legacy of the Moonspell, this new DLC will add additional content to that existing expansion pack. Notably, Poncle is permanently reducing the price of Legacy of the Moonspell alongside this announcement, making the previous content more accessible to players.
The expansion will be released across multiple platforms including PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, ensuring broad availability for the game’s dedicated fanbase. This continued support demonstrates Poncle’s commitment to the game despite the studio’s ongoing work on other projects like Vampire Crawlers. The announcements highlight the enduring popularity of Vampire Survivors and the developer’s dedication to expanding the experience for players across various platforms.
