Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 636
Push Square’s weekly gaming column features staff writers discussing their current gaming activities during a particularly busy news cycle that falls outside the E3 season. This influx of gaming news makes the column timely, offering insight into what industry professionals are actually playing in their limited free time.
The featured contributors are engaged in varied gaming pursuits across multiple recent releases. One writer is actively progressing through Gotham Knights, specifically enjoying the Red Hood character while simultaneously rereading Scott Snyder’s Batman comics to provide narrative companion context to the game’s story. This approach highlights how some players integrate multiple media formats with their gaming experience.
Other contributors are in the post-completion phase of their gaming, focusing on collectible hunting and pursuing Platinum Trophy achievements in both 007 First Light and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Rather than moving on to new titles, these writers are dedicating their gaming time to completion and achievement cleanup in recent releases, suggesting a preference for thorough play-throughs over constantly moving between games.
