Arkheron, an isometric Diablo-like battle royale where you ascend a tower, is getting a more forgiving Spire mode to prepare you for the big leagues

Arkheron, an isometric action RPG combining Diablo-like dungeon-crawling mechanics with battle royale competition, is introducing a new Spire mode designed to ease players into the game before they engage in higher-stakes competitive play. The game centers on three-player cooperative squads ascending a mysterious tower in the afterlife, with rounds punctuated by PvPvE combat encounters where teams face off against opponents at the end of each floor, determining who can advance further up the structure.

The newly announced Spire mode provides a more forgiving learning environment compared to the core tower-climbing experience. This softer difficulty setting allows players to familiarize themselves with Arkheron’s mechanics and strategy before diving into the main competitive mode where stakes are higher. The announcement came at the PC Gaming Show, demonstrating developer commitment to accessibility and player progression. Positive feedback from community playtests has been instrumental in shaping this feature. Players can already wishlist the game on Steam, where additional information and other PC Gaming Show titles are available for discovery.
