From the creators of Mouthwashing comes a co-op tank game with a disgusting twist

Wrong Organ, the studio behind the acclaimed 2024 horror game Mouthwashing, has announced Carcass Clad, a new cooperative tank simulation with a grotesque aesthetic. The game was revealed at the PC Gaming Show and presents a starkly different setting from their previous work while maintaining their signature unsettling atmosphere.

Carcass Clad is designed for three-player cooperation, requiring crew members to work together to operate a single tank as it traverses a devastated and unholy city. The game draws loose inspiration from the 1939 Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union, but reimagines it through a nightmarish lens. Players face hostile enemy tanks while managing their shared vehicle in claustrophobic conditions, with each crew member responsible for operating their section of the machine.

The developers have described the game’s tone as comparable to Amnesia: The Bunker, suggesting a blend of survival horror elements with military simulation gameplay. The aesthetic emphasizes grotesque and disturbing imagery—the tank and city environments are filled with unsettling details meant to create an oppressive, dreadful atmosphere rather than the cozy or comedic tone common in many cooperative games.

The game premiered during the PC Gaming Show, where it was noted for its distinctive visual style and intense cooperative mechanics. Players must maintain constant communication to coordinate their actions within the cramped confines of the tank, adding a layer of tension to both combat and navigation. Carcass Clad is currently available for wishlisting on Steam.
