Every New Card and Theme in Magic: The Gathering’s Marvel Super Heroes Jumpstart Set
Wizards of the Coast has announced a Marvel Super Heroes crossover set for Magic: The Gathering, featuring a new edition of Jumpstart with 51 distinct theme packs. The release will include over 180 brand new cards created specifically for the collaboration, alongside over 60 reprinted cards exclusive to this Jumpstart edition.
Jumpstart has established itself as one of Magic’s most accessible formats for new and casual players. The format streamlines deck construction by allowing players to select two themed packs, shuffle them together, and immediately create a playable 40-card deck capable of competing against similarly constructed decks.
The Marvel crossover brings superhero intellectual property and related themes into Magic’s card mechanics and design. With 51 different theme packs available, players will have substantial variety in deck combinations and strategies. The release combines new card designs with exclusive reprints, creating a fresh experience for both longtime Magic players and newcomers.
The Jumpstart format’s accessibility, paired with the popular Marvel IP, positions this release as a bridge for Marvel fans considering Magic while offering established players fresh content. An exclusive preview provided a comprehensive look at all new cards and themes included in the set.
