Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Rayman 3D
The article is part of a weekly “Box Art Brawl” feature that compares regional box art designs for video games. This week’s edition focuses on Rayman 3D, the 2011 Nintendo 3DS port of the Dreamcast classic Rayman 2. The previous week’s poll for GameCube’s WarioWare, Inc: Mega Party Game$ saw the North American box art win decisively with 76% of the vote, while European and Japanese designs tied for second place with 12% each. Though Rayman 3D didn’t make a major impact upon release, the port offered appealing 3D visuals suited to the 3DS handheld’s screen and provided nostalgic appeal for players of the original’s dimension-based platforming gameplay. This week’s Rayman 3D box art poll is part of broader coverage dedicated to the limbless platforming character, inviting readers to vote on which of the game’s regional box art designs they prefer.
