Meet The Vampire Lestat’s Rock Band in an Exclusive New Clip | IGN Live 2026
AMC’s Vampire Chronicles adaptation continues under a new title with “The Vampire Lestat,” the third season based on Anne Rice’s second novel in the series. The new chapter features protagonist Lestat (Sam Reid) reimagined as a rock star leading his own band, which he names after himself in typical narcissistic fashion. An exclusive clip debuted at IGN Live 2026 showing Lestat’s voiceover explaining the band’s backstory and lineup, revealing their stated goal of inducing “FOMO” among younger audiences. The season will follow Lestat on an electric multi-city tour, marking a significant tonal shift for the series from the previous seasons’ gothic drama. The character’s new rock star persona represents an unexpected creative direction for the long-running Vampire Chronicles adaptation.
