Halo: Campaign Evolved Preorders Are Here, Including A Massive Collector’s Edition
Halo: Campaign Evolved has launched into preorder with immediate strong demand across multiple platforms. The modernized remake of the original 1998 Halo title is available for preorder on Xbox Series X and PS5 at $50 for the standard edition, with a premium version priced at $70 releasing five days earlier on July 23. The standard editions follow on July 28.
Most notably, the collector’s edition sold out almost instantly following its availability through the Xbox Game Studios Shop. The premium physical offering included a 12-inch Master Chief statue, both physical disc and digital download voucher, an LED Cortana chip, and five days of early access, priced at $199.99 in the US and £189.99 in the UK. Both US and European inventory sold through within hours of preorder opening, with no confirmed restock plans.
The rapid sellout has created significant secondary market activity, with resellers already listing collector’s editions on eBay at substantially inflated prices. The game is also performing strongly on Steam, reaching number five on the platform’s best-sellers chart within the first day of preorder availability.
The launch coincides with Xbox’s 25th anniversary celebrations, with Master Chief serving as a central figure in the publisher’s milestone campaign. The modernized approach to the beloved 1998 original has resonated strongly with fans and newcomers alike, based on early reception and preorder numbers.
