Talking Point: Nintendo Direct June 2026 Predictions - What Do You Hope To See?
Nintendo is anticipated to hold a Nintendo Direct presentation with several expected announcements. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is predicted to feature prominently, as it currently lacks a confirmed release date, making its unveiling a likely centerpiece of the event.
Splatoon Raiders is also expected to receive substantial coverage, given that limited information about the title has been publicly shared to date. The presentation will likely include announcements regarding Switch Online features and a showcase of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition content.
Rhythm Heaven may appear during the presentation, though its impact is expected to be modest compared to other franchises. Recent Persona announcements—notably absent from Switch 2 information—are anticipated to be addressed.
The Nintendo Direct is positioned as a critical opportunity for Nintendo to outline its major release schedule for the important September through November period, with the presentation expected to build momentum for the company’s fall gaming lineup.
