Don’t Expect Persona 6 News Until P4 Revival Is Out
Atlus has indicated that fans should not expect to hear more about Persona 6 until after the release of Persona 4 Revival. Following the announcement of Persona 6 with a teaser trailer, P Studio director Kazuhisa Wada stated in a press release that the team will remain focused on the upcoming remake before shifting attention to details about the next mainline entry in the series.
Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, which means there will be at least an eight-month wait before Atlus officially shares additional information about Persona 6. The developer’s decision to maintain silence on the upcoming title reflects the company’s strategy to give Persona 4 Revival its own spotlight during its release window without splitting attention between the two projects.
This approach allows Atlus to focus marketing efforts and media coverage on the Persona 4 remake first, before pivoting to discussing the next installment. The announcement of Persona 6’s existence itself came as welcome news to the franchise’s dedicated fanbase, but further revelations about features, platforms, and release timeline will have to wait.
