Studio Ghibli fans don’t want to miss the newly-announced game Into the Wind
Studio Ghibli-inspired game Into the Wind has been announced during The PC Gaming Show on Sunday, generating interest among fans of the Japanese animation studio’s work. The game uniquely combines gameplay elements from two beloved Ghibli films: the delivery service business mechanics of Kiki’s Delivery Service and the aerial combat and flying from Porco Rosso.
A distinctive gameplay feature involves players carefully balancing and managing deliveries, reminiscent of mechanics seen in the Death Stranding series. The game’s most notable feature is a sentient motorcycle that has the ability to transform into an airplane, adding a whimsical and fantastical element to the experience.
The announcement comes alongside numerous other game reveals at Summer Game Fest and related showcases, including major titles and indie games featured at events like Day of the Devs and Wholesome Direct. Into the Wind represents one of several indie and smaller-scale games capturing attention alongside larger AAA announcements.
