Apple announces Europe’s first Developer Centre
Apple has announced plans to open its first European Developer Centre in Berlin’s Mitte District, launching later in 2026. This facility represents Apple’s fifth Developer Centre worldwide, complementing existing locations in Bengaluru, Cupertino, Shanghai, and Singapore.
The Berlin center will serve as a comprehensive hub for developers seeking to enhance their skills and optimize their applications. The facility will feature consultation areas and dedicated laboratories equipped with extensive development resources. Developers will have access to over 250,000 API frameworks and tools designed to support application development. The space will accommodate in-person sessions, technical workshops, and collaborative meetings aimed at helping developers improve the design, quality, and performance of their apps.
This European expansion underscores Apple’s commitment to supporting and nurturing its global developer community. By establishing a physical presence in a major European tech hub, Apple is providing direct access to expert guidance and cutting-edge development resources, intended to foster innovation and excellence across its platform ecosystem.
