Bonus PS Plus Extra Game Available Today
Bungie has announced the end of content support for Destiny 2, marking a significant shift for the long-running live-service game. To accompany this transition, a comprehensive Destiny 2: Legacy Collection has been added to PlayStation Plus Extra subscription service today.
The Legacy Collection provides PlayStation Plus subscribers with access to the base game alongside ten major expansions and content packages. The bundle includes five major expansions—The Final Shape, Lightfall, The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep—along with the fan-favorite Forsaken expansion. Additional content includes the 30th Anniversary Pack and three endgame dungeons: Pit of Heresy, Shattered Throne, and Grasp of Avarice.
While the Legacy Collection represents a substantial offering of Destiny 2’s most significant post-launch content, certain expansions and seasonal materials remain excluded from the PS Plus Extra package. This move preserves access to Destiny 2’s legacy content as the game transitions into its post-support phase, allowing both existing and new PlayStation players to experience the extensive catalog of expansions that have defined the franchise throughout its years of active development.
