Preorders For The Minecraft Dungeons 2 Deluxe Edition Are Live
Preorders for Minecraft Dungeons 2 Deluxe Edition are now live ahead of the game’s September 29 launch. The physical Deluxe Edition is priced at $50 and available for preorder across PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2 platforms through multiple retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.
The Deluxe Edition includes additional DLC content compared to the standard version. Alternatively, a standard edition of Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be available through Xbox Game Pass on day one, providing subscribers with day-one access to the game without a separate purchase.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 aims to deliver a deeper dungeon-crawler experience building upon the original game’s foundation. The announcement capitalizes on strong momentum within the Minecraft franchise, which has been reinforced by the success of its live-action movie adaptation at the box office and the continued popularity of the main Minecraft game. The September release positions the sequel to benefit from both the franchise’s established fanbase and broader cultural relevance, with preorders opening nearly four months before launch to allow players time to secure the Deluxe Edition.
