Türkiye’s domestic mobile revenue grew 6% to $347m in 2025

Türkiye’s mobile gaming market continued its expansion in 2025, with domestic revenue rising 6% to reach $347 million—the highest annual total on record. Over the past six years, Turkish developer revenue has surged 450% to $2.7 billion, reflecting the country’s growing prominence in the global mobile gaming sector.

According to AppMagic’s annual Turkish mobile report, produced in partnership with Gamigion, the market has significantly increased its global footprint, with Türkiye’s share rising from 1% to 5%. This expansion underscores the region’s emerging importance as a gaming development hub.

Interestingly, the market is experiencing a notable shift in its composition. Downloads declined 4% year-on-year to 1.8 billion, but this contraction was offset by increased monetization efforts. This transition from volume-focused to monetization-focused growth suggests the market is maturing, with developers prioritizing revenue quality over sheer download numbers.

The developer ecosystem continues to strengthen, with the number of active developers in Türkiye growing 18.6% in 2025. This follows a dramatic expansion in 2022, when the developer population surged 105.5% year-on-year, indicating sustained interest in mobile game development within the region.
