Mario Rabbids creator’s Bradley the Badger signed by Focus Entertainment

Focus Entertainment has signed Bradley the Badger, a new 3D platformer from Day 4 Night studio, announced at The Game Awards. The game comes from Davide Soliani, creative director of the Mario Rabbids franchise, who founded Day 4 Night in 2024 alongside notable industry veterans. The studio’s leadership includes Christian Cantamessa, the writer behind Red Dead Redemption, and former Ubisoft Milan producers Cristina Nava and Gian Marco Zanna.

Bradley the Badger is designed as a satirical take on modern video game development, featuring themed worlds that parody popular franchises and gaming trends with names like “BadgerBorne,” “CyberBadger,” and “The Last Badger.” The game distinguishes itself through the integration of live-action sequences that drive the narrative forward, blending cinematic storytelling with gameplay. This unusual approach reflects Day 4 Night’s ambition to create a distinctive experience in the crowded platformer genre.

The partnership with Focus Entertainment signals confidence in Soliani’s creative vision following his work on the acclaimed Mario Rabbids series. Focus Entertainment’s investment in Day 4 Night’s debut title underscores the publisher’s interest in supporting innovative indie and mid-tier developers bringing fresh perspectives to established genres.
