Gran Turismo 7’s Excellent Post-Launch Support Continues with 5 New Cars in Latest Free Update
Polyphony Digital has released version 1.70 for Gran Turismo 7, continuing the racing simulation’s strong post-launch support. The free update, available to PS5 and PS4 players, brings five new vehicles to the game: the Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V8, Peugeot 9X8, and Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car. These additions align with the real-world 24 Hours of Le Mans race, which was underway at the time of the update’s release.
Beyond the new cars, version 1.70 introduces a refreshed Menu system and five new racing events within the World Circuits mode, including the 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit. The update reflects Polyphony Digital’s commitment to regularly adding content to the game, with fresh cars and events releasing at a consistent pace since the game’s launch.
The developer has maintained this level of post-launch support for years, consistently growing the game’s roster of vehicles and racing scenarios. This update demonstrates that Gran Turismo 7 continues to evolve as a living title on PlayStation’s console lineup.
