NASCAR 26 from iRacing is “well into development” while the IndyCar game is “progressing very nicely”

iRacing has officially confirmed that NASCAR 26 is currently “well into development” as a full standalone release. According to Kevin Bobbitt, an executive at iRacing, the game will not follow an EA Sports seasonal update model but instead arrive as a complete new installment. The announcement came via iRacing’s Downshift podcast, marking the first concrete details about the upcoming racing title.

While specific features and release timing remain undisclosed, iRacing indicated that further details will be shared in the coming weeks. In parallel, the company revealed that its in-development IndyCar game is “progressing very nicely,” demonstrating iRacing’s ongoing investment in licensed motorsports gaming. The dual development efforts underscore the company’s commitment to bringing major American racing properties to its simulation platform.
