Steam is giving away 3 ‘very positive’ games for free, for a limited time
Steam is currently offering three highly-rated games for free to users in a limited-time promotion, highlighting titles with strong player reviews.
The Red Lantern, a narrative-driven survival game, leads the giveaway. Players venture into the Alaskan wilderness with a team of sled dogs, each possessing distinct personalities and stories to discover. The game balances survival mechanics with pet care responsibilities, requiring management of both personal resources and canine companions’ wellbeing. Once players establish a cabin as their base, they can continue wilderness expeditions or use Zen Mode to let the dogs roam freely. The title has garnered nearly 900 “very positive” player reviews and is available to claim for free until June 18 at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
Also included in the promotion is Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, a game focused on burger restaurant management gameplay. The titles represent Steam’s ongoing strategy of offering premium games temporarily at no cost to attract new players and expand game discovery on the platform.
