Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (13th June)
Nintendo Life’s “Talking Points” feature asks staff members what they’re planning to play over the weekend, with responses highlighting renewed interest in classic titles and upcoming releases following a Nintendo Direct announcement. Features Editor Jim Norman is revisiting The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, one of the series’ most beloved entries, in anticipation of a remake set to release in the coming months. Norman notes that while he typically plays through the opening dungeons annually, the upcoming new version has inspired him to commit to a complete playthrough. With Star Fox scheduled to launch in approximately two weeks, Norman aims to finish Ocarina of Time before turning his attention to the space shooter. Video Producer Mai Ladyman has similarly been active in gaming despite a busy editorial schedule. Ladyman is currently progressing through a secret unrevealed game project—details to be shared later—while also working toward completing Pokopia. The feature reflects the gaming community’s excitement around Nintendo’s recent announcements and the various titles occupying players’ attention this weekend.
