Esports World Cup 2026 Schedule: Week-By-Week Breakdown

The Esports World Cup 2026 is set to begin on July 6, marking the third iteration of the multi-million dollar esports event. This year’s tournament will be the largest yet, featuring 25 tournaments across 24 different game titles, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Dota 2, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

The 2026 edition will distribute a record-breaking $75 million in prize money, with $30 million allocated specifically to the Club Championship portion of the event. This represents a significant investment in competitive esports.

The tournament kicks off with Week 1 beginning July 6, featuring several marquee titles. Dota 2 will run throughout the opening two weeks (July 6-18), providing the event’s opening match. Valorant will compete from July 9-12, while the Apex Legends Global Series Split 1 Playoffs take place July 7-11. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves rounds out the early competition window (July 7-10).

The schedule reveals a staggered approach to tournament timing, allowing multiple esports to run simultaneously while spreading coverage across the month-long event. The inclusion of both established esports titles and newer competitive entries demonstrates the breadth of games competing for the championship titles and prize pool allocation.
