LEGO Reveals First Look at KPop Demon Hunters Set
LEGO has unveiled its first set based on the Netflix series KPop Demon Hunters, featuring the show’s supernatural characters Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird. The debut set, consisting of 825 pieces, will retail for $69.99 and becomes available for pre-order immediately, with an official August 1 release date.
According to LEGO, the set was designed to capture key behaviors and elements from the film, incorporating multiple expressions and dynamic features. Derpy Tiger, the supernatural blue tiger character, can display two different expressions—a goofy grin and an open-mouthed look with his “Hello Friend” love letter stuck to his tongue. The set includes various accessories and adjustable features to enhance playability and display value.
LEGO highlighted the accelerated development process, noting that the KPop Demon Hunters set was “designed in record time from brief to final model,” showcasing the company’s ability to quickly execute entertainment partnerships. The set represents LEGO’s continued expansion into licensed entertainment properties, bridging the gap between streaming content and physical collectibles.
