When Does Pokémon Champions Mobile Release? Exact Start Time & Date
Pokémon Champions is expanding its reach with the arrival of a mobile version on June 17, 2026. Originally released earlier this year on Nintendo Switch, the game has established itself as the official format for Pokémon’s Video Game Championships (VGC) competitive scene, and the mobile launch is set to introduce the title to a significantly broader audience.
The release timing varies by region due to time zone differences. Players in North and South America will be able to access the mobile version on the evening of June 16, while other regions will see the official June 17 launch date. The mobile launch is being accompanied by a major game update, which will likely introduce new features and content for both existing and incoming players.
This expansion represents a significant moment for Pokémon’s esports ecosystem, democratizing access to the competitive VGC format by bringing it to mobile devices. The shift follows the success of the Nintendo Switch version and positions Pokémon Champions as a major competitive gaming title across multiple platforms.
