2 New PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Available to Download Now
Sony has announced the June 2026 PS Plus Extra and Premium game additions, marking a shift in how the company delivers new titles to subscribers. In the UK, USA, and Japan, games are now being released across multiple weeks rather than all at once, a departure from the service’s usual practice.
Sonic X Generations became available to subscribers in these three regions on Friday. Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life Is Strange: Double Exposure will follow on June 23rd. This staggered rollout applies only to the UK, USA, and Japan; players in other regions will receive the full monthly update through the normal simultaneous release schedule.
Among the new additions is Gitaroo Man, a PS2-era rhythm adventure game from Koei Tecmo and Liona Interactive (formerly iNiS) that originally launched in the early 2000s. The classic title joins PS Plus Premium with full Trophy support, offering players 21 digital awards to unlock, including the coveted platinum trophy. Earning all trophies requires players to complete the game while maintaining A-rank performances on each stage without missing any notes. Gitaroo Man is available as part of the subscription service or as a standalone purchase.
