Mega Man: Dual Override Will Be Playable For The First Time At Gamescom 2026
Capcom has announced its playable lineup for Gamescom 2026 (August 26-30), featuring four major titles across 60 demo stations. The headline announcement is Mega Man: Dual Override, which will make its public debut at the event. Originally announced at The Game Awards 2025, this anticipated action-platformer is slated for 2027 release on all platforms.
Also headlining the booth is Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, a full-blooded expansion that has been eagerly awaited by fans. The expansion will release bundled with the base game when it arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 9, 2026. Press and fans alike are expected to extract extensive details and footage from the playable demo.
Capcom’s August showcase will also include Onimusha: Way of the Sword (launching September 25, 2026), which already has a playable demo available on PS5, plus various Street Fighter 6 activities. The Gamescom appearances are expected to be accompanied by new trailers and gameplay footage, particularly for Mega Man: Dual Override, which has remained largely under wraps since its announcement.
