Developer AdHoc Studio has released a free “HR Violations Pack” patch for Dispatch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, addressing widespread player frustration over aggressive censorship. The patch, available in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, adds a “Partial Coverage” visual option that reveals breasts, butts, and obscene gestures previously hidden behind intrusive black bars.
The controversy emerged earlier this year when players discovered that Switch versions of Dispatch—unlike other platforms—lacked any visual censorship toggles, leaving all adult content permanently covered. The developer has now provided players with meaningful control, offering a choice between the original “Full Coverage” censorship and the new “Partial Coverage” option.
Staying true to the patch’s humorous “HR Violations” branding, AdHoc Studio included creative alternative censoring methods.
