Finally you can use all PlayStation DualSense controller features wirelessly on PC, but you will need to pay for it

For years, the PlayStation DualSense controller’s advanced features—including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers—have only functioned wirelessly on PS5 consoles. While the controller technically works on PC via Bluetooth, these distinctive features require a wired USB-C connection to function.

That limitation is changing thanks to a new update to DSX, a third-party application that manages and customizes DualSense functionality on PC. The latest version of DSX now enables wireless haptic feedback and Bluetooth audio support on PC, essentially creating a “virtual” DualSense that allows the controller to operate identically to its PS5 implementation.

The DSX update also includes custom profile support and additional customization options, giving players the full DualSense experience on PC—something Sony has not officially provided. However, accessing these features comes with a cost: the expanded functionality requires payment through the DSX app.

For the PC gaming community, this represents a significant breakthrough after years of community developers and third-party creators attempting to bypass Sony’s wireless feature restrictions. While not an official solution from Sony, the DSX update provides gamers with the wireless DualSense experience they’ve long sought on the platform.
